About me

Hi! I'm so pleased you are here!

I am Suzanne, a 24 year old from the Netherlands.

I've loved writing ever since I was a little girl, I always had a writing project on the go. Crafting my own little magazines, making up my own songs, writing a book over e-mail with my cousin: I cannot remember a time that I wasn't writing in some way shape or form.

When I got older, I decided to study communications but the curriculum had entirely too little writing included for my taste!! After dealing with a couple health related set backs, I am now rediscovering what I am really passionate about. Leading to, among other things, this blog you've somehow stumbled upon!

I've been known to be a big consumer of tv-shows and podcasts and I'm always keen to give people personal recommendations, so that's where I started on my blog as well! Since then, I've been branching out occasionally, writing about whatever has caught my attention recently!

My interest include (but are absolutely in no way limited to): crochet, investigative podcasts, feelgood/history/sci-fi books, history (post 1600), slow living, cooking (I'm an aspiring vegetarian), Taylor Swift, volleyball, football, gardening, plants, scrapbooking, art, museums and poetry.

I hope my blog is a place where you can discover new cosy, inspiring, interesting and exciting things and ideas.

Oh and just to make sure: I am 100% against generative Ai and I do not use any form of it in any aspect of my blog.

Maybe you can't stomach gnarly details of a murdercase, but you still like riveting storytelling? I got you! Here are my favorite, serial, non-murder, podcasts! Essentially these are all limited documentary podcasts, with an investigative or journalism format. But, enough with technicallities, here is my list! 1. I love to change my media consumption with the seasons. Nothing quite like curling up on one of the first rainy days of fall and hearing the tones of the Gilmore Girls intro while you sip your cinnamon tea! Besides my music, shows and books, I also like to match my podcast listening to the season! So today I wanted to share my favorite podcast episodes that get me into a fall mood.
